Clifton Cyclone Vortex Mixer

For fast and efficient mixing, the Cyclone is much better than shaking hands. The Cyclone creates a vortex in the tube, which gives the very effective mixing action. Contamination from stirrers and plugs is eliminated and different samples can be subjected to the same degree of mixing, improving the repeatability of the results. Equipped with an automatic press start control that provides instant action the moment the tube is pressed into the rubber cap. This function is especially useful when repetitive mixing is performed. Provides variable speed control, with the benefits of controlled mixing over a wide speed range from 200 to 2800 rpm on a 7mm track. This allows very slow gentle mixing, which is necessary in many applications, especially where damage to the cell structure must be avoided. The unit can be set to run continuously at the selected speed or on demand by inserting the tube into the cup. The rubber cup with skirt helps prevent liquid from entering the housing. The cup accepts barrels up to 25mm in diameter. Excellent stability is achieved due to a combination of weight and non-slip feet.
