Biosafe Sepax Sepax 2 – S-100 Cell Separation System is a mobile, closed system that efficiently processes umbilical cord blood, bone marrow, peripheral blood or other blood derivatives as permitted by applicable legal requirements.

The basic scientific technology is based on a separation chamber that provides both separation by rotation of the syringe chamber (centrifugation) and transfer of components by movement of the syringe plunger. An optical sensor measures the light absorption of the separated components and manages the flow direction of each of them into the correct output container.
