Knauer Smartline S6 Valve Drive

Valves are ubiquitous in all HPLC applications. 2-position valves are used mostly for injections, but can be used for complex switching systems as well. Multi-position valves can be used for fraction collection, eluent selection or column switching. Due to its compact dimensions, it needs very little bench space. If more than one valve is needed for your application, it is a practical option to combine these elements as units in one stackable device.

The 7-port/1-channel-switching valve can be switched to 6 positions. Each switch command will result in a 60° turn, so that the 6th switch command returns to the first position.
