Thermomixer comfort allows simultaneous mixing and temperature control. Potential applications include: enzyme reactions, transformations, denaturations of DNA, RNA and proteins, culture of bacteria and yeasts, bead technology, isolation of plasmids and DNA fragments from agarose gels, immunoprecipitation and hybridization. Two selectable program sequences with incubation, mixing and rest phases with subsequent cooling to 13°C below the ambient temperature and automatic recognition of the thermoblock and display of maximum revolutions.
